We are an independent, one shop, community pharmacy, on Kiln Lane, Hambleton, Poulton, FY6 9AH providing a dedicated service to the entire, FY6 Wyre district.
Your repeat prescriptions are dispensed locally at Hambleton, usually being ready for collection or delivery to your door within TWO working days of receiving your prescription, unlike some of our large nationwide competitors who can now take up to a week! This remarkable difference is possible thanks to our highly trained staff under the direction of David Wilkinson our superintendent pharmacist of many years standing. We also have installed a superb dispensing robot which you are welcome to view in action if you visit the pharmacy. Our existing customers already appreciate the speedy, reliable dispensing service and the FREE Monday to Friday optional prescription delivery to all areas Over Wyre. We would be delighted should you wish to become one of our regular customers and will offer every assistance if you have any difficulties in doing so.
FOR NEW AND EXISTING CUSTOMERS:
It is very important that the Over Wyre Medical Centre staff are made aware that you have chosen to have your prescriptions processed by Hambleton Pharmacy so that the prescription can be collected by our driver on your behalf, otherwise it may be diverted in error to the wrong pharmacy.
For people who live or work in the Over Wyre area but their doctors are in Fleetwood, Poulton, Blackpool, Cleveley's, Thornton or Carleton - we can now receive your prescriptions electronically and have them ready for you to collect, this saves you a trip to the surgery to collect the paper prescription or a trip to a pharmacy miles away to collect your medication.
